Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and say so.
Our policy
- We correct factual errors as soon as we confirm them, normally within a day and always within ten days.
- The correction appears where the error was, dated, and in the edition it came from. It's also listed below.
- We don't quietly change facts. Small fixes like typos that don't change meaning may be made without a note.
- If an update changes a story's meaning but the original wasn't wrong, we label it as an update.
