What Palmarrish is
A free, independent local news site for Palmetto, Parrish, Ellenton and nearby North Manatee County, Florida. We summarize public records, government information and other outlets' reporting, and link to the sources. We aren't affiliated with Manatee County, any city, any developer or any business we write about unless we say so.
Information can be wrong or out of date
We check every item against its source before we publish, but we can't guarantee that everything is complete, accurate or current. Plans, dates, prices, event times and project statuses change, sometimes after we publish, and our short summaries leave out detail.
- Check the linked source, or the office or organizer involved, before you rely on anything here.
- Nothing on this site is an official record. For permits, zoning, taxes, elections and legal deadlines, go to the official source.
- Our maps are sketches and pin locations are approximate. Distances are straight-line estimates and drive times are guesses. Don't use them for navigation, surveying or property decisions.
- Event details come from organizers and listings. Events can be canceled or changed without notice.
- Figures such as budget, housing and crime numbers are as reported by the linked sources.
